The Problems with Kids' Socks

Qool Socks was inspired by Charlie (our Chief Creative Officer) and his friends, and the way they used their sock style as a form of self-expression.

But it was also inspired by the MANY issues with kids's socks.

When it comes to kids' socks, it's not uncommon for parents to find themselves facing a number of problems:

  1. Socks that are always disappearing: Kids seem to have a knack for losing their socks, whether it's at home, at school, or elsewhere.

  2. Socks that don't stay up: Otherwise knows as slouching. Socks that constantly slip down can be a MAJOR annoyance for kids, and it can be tempting for them to just go without socks altogether.

  3. Socks that are too tight or too loose: Socks that are too tight can be constricting and uncomfortable, while socks that are too loose can cause blisters and be incredibly frustrating for kids.

  4. Socks that aren't absorbent enough: If your child is active or tends sweat a lot, a cheap cotton or poly blend sock isn't going to keep their feet dry or comfortable.

  5. Holes: Enough said.

The list goes on and on. At Qool Socks, we have surveyed hundreds of kids and parents around the world about kids' sock problems. Our goal was understand all of the bad so we could thoughtfully-design the highest-quality socks just for kids.

We want Qool Socks to be problem-solving socks for kids and adults.
